"Do you hear the people sing? Singing the song of angry men..."

Today our school had the normal formal assembly. When they were singing the national anthem, my heart was poignant for a moment. I remember the night before when I was watching the live updates online. The whole nation on the edge of their seats, watching what the outcome will be, anticipating change or a sustenance of power.

"This is the music of the people who will not be slaves again!"

For a moment I imagined what it might look like if things were different than how it was since independence. I imagined how it could be if things were different. All the systems that I hate, there is a possibility that it would be gone! All the suffocating bottle-neck effect could be gone!

"When the beating of your heart echoes the beating of the drums..."

But when the national anthem was sung, the slow steady rhythms echoes the poignancy of the dimmed hope, unlike the song that suddenly echoes the hope in my mind right now. But as this song suddenly creeps into my mind, it resounds louder and louder! We shall despair not for there is still hope for tomorrow!

"There is a life about to start when tomorrow comes!"

4 years.
