AWESOME heart warming DAY!!! xD

I had an AWESOME today. Seriously awesome. I felt like I am with family again. It warmed my heart to the core.

I woke up late, wash up, ate maggie & an egg and went to GUC (the little store downstairs of my college) and bought muffins and twiggies. Then I waited and ate one of the twiggies. I started waiting at 12.25 noon for the bus because the Commuter bus comes in between half past and hour to the hour (so it's like 12.30 to 13.05). This takes a lot of faith and prayers and most of all, patience and this is the most nervous time of the journey all the time because it sets the time for departure to my destination. But GOD IS FAITHFUL! The bus came at 1p.m. and I'm off for my AWESOME DAY!

So I reached the station early so I text ze Bride and bought water (forgot to bring) and sat there to study for a bit. I got excited when I saw the buses advertising UNIQLO!!! Managed to study one chapter and the car came and we're off to the bridal studio!

Finally met the Bride's sister and their mom and they are very cool people who're very friendly and very happy people :D Her mom's so cute, so happy during dinner, kept chuckling xD

So we helped each other select dresses, firstly the bride's gown and evening gown. Then we bridesmaids dresses. They really know how to do business. Separate what designer gowns. Then the worst is, all the dresses are like, for stick people. Seriously. The evening gowns mostly look like... dunno how to explain. And the worst is, the bridesmaid dresses. They are horrid. It's either funeral-but-white-plain-auntie-dulllllll dress or in simple, ballerina dress. Everyone was on the verge of breaking each other's neck over styles and sizes and fitting when finally the bride got suitable nice dresses and we bridesmaids got to choose brides gowns with no train as bridesmaid dresses. The bride is fine with it, we look nice in them, so finally it is settled. (The bride and I were still planning on dieting so we were thinking we might have to readjust the dresses again when we go back to Sibu :P).

From this experience, if I am going to get married, my plan would be:
1) start saving $$ when I start work to save until RM4000 to buy a dress from overseas
2) Design one and tailor made it.
3) Make ma own. :)

As for my bridesmaids:
1) Tailor made one I designed
2) I make. But I think I will be too tired to make unless there's only 2 of them. Haha.

Unless I get a super rich guy, I'll just order dresses from overseas. Muahaha...

So, we were there choosing dresses and all that and the people there are getting cranky then when we checked the time, we were shocked to find out we spent 3 hours there! But thank God by then all the dresses were selected and we went off hungry to The Olive Tree which is off Sungei Wang area.

Driving past Times Square and then Sungei Wang, seeing the night life and the HUGE SHOPPING MALLS THAT I HAVEN'T GONE FOR DUNNO HOW LONG it was like... heavennnn... *dreamy look* And after the heavenly dinner of scrumptious Indian food, driving past Pudu Area and Petaling Street, it was another heavenly part of KL that I have been dreaming of going at night. And it was a dream half fulfilled (to me is quite filled because I am satisfied but Binny said it is half fulfilled which is quite true. I wanna shop there :).

Then they were extremely kind to send me back! Saving me from the dread of travelling at night. And it was a heavenly day with people who are like family although most them I meet first time. And my heart is warmed with happiness to the core :D

Thank you God for wonderful people and wonderful experiences :D

If you wanna make your own dresses, better give yourself a year's time because bridal gowns and brides maid dresses are no joke.

Haha. Another alternative that I thought of before is to hire YOU to make them ;P
