I was feeling rather blur the past few days. Yesterday knowing my KB result kinda shook me a bit. But knowing life has its ups and downs and perhaps I haven't studied hard enough, or smart enough, or the paper is just one of the subjects which I can't grasp, what is done is done and cannot be changed and the only thing to do is to move on, work harder for other papers and push the overall grades up. My extra co-curriculum is an A and I hope my Spanish will get A also to push the grades up. Next semester I will not be taking Spanish again. I don't want to put extra burden on myself. Besides, I have the text book already and some links which I can just go and learn myself. :) But now I can sort of understand simple sentences but I still need the dictionary a lot due to my lack of knowledge of Spanish vocabularies.
Well, I was thinking and wondering yesterday about what God is specifically teaching me now. I have quite a few Christian books and also e-books with me and I have been reading quite a few at the same time but only parts of them. They sort of speak to me and I know God is leading me to them. But I wonder at the complete outline of what God is teaching. Somehow, the topics I read are connected. Then I went to my file of e-books and suddenly this book's topic caught my eyes Don't Let the Devil Destroy Your Purpose by Roberts Liardon. It is a very short book but it is totally awesome! It's powerful and straight to the point. I feel so charged up after reading it. Then I took my spiral bound noteys (I am crazy about spiral bound note books xD especially hard covered ones) and started writing. Earlier on I've already written my some-sort purpose statement after reading the last chapter of the other book I have been reading for quite some time. Then I wrote a whole list of I-don't-know-what-to-call-it.
1. Know your purpose, your destiny, your call and hold and work on to it!
2. Walk in your authority given by God, don't let the devil step on you!
3. Walk and live by faith. You have all the knowledge and the Holy Spirit's guidance. God is with you. Don't doubt!
4. Keep your eyes focused on God and not on circumstances or man!
5. Leave your past and its failures and move forward. Your past doesn't define your future. God made you a success, the head and not the tail.
6. Be open for God's chastening. Build your character. God is refining and moulding you.
7. Step out of your comfort zone! Be confident, have faith in God and step out. You are not small, not frail. You have calibre and God taught you so much already. Use the talents and gifts God gave you. Don't succumb to what others say about you.
8. Don't let the devil steal your JOY! There is nothing such as stress or worries. Trust God!
:) And all these, I shall put it somewhere so that I can see them. These are what God is teaching me. These are things I am learning. What I feel is that just to depend on cell group to learn is just not enough. Cell group can learn stuff but I want more. God is teaching me more personally. I do want more fellowship with the people of course. Looking forward to cell group. :)
