So lately there's been a serious consideration to take up what kind of temporary jobs while waiting for an answer for the permanent job. One called me up but I turned it down but then decided to contact another.
The other contacted me and from the way both actually approached me it made me wonder about a lot of things if not several.
On one point I was telling myself, oh girl you are in the working world now. It is different from before. Employers will squeeze you dry and do whatever they want. But I wonder, is that true?
When they approached me to "help" out they were nice and all and when it comes to the not nice part, I can't blame them but when I told them I could help, they started sounding like I am at their beck and call because they are the ones paying that they don't even have to be nice to me anymore except for the additional smiley at the end of their text after they get a response they are happy with. The not so nice thing is that these persons are people I know.
It made me seriously wonder if I will regret agreeing to work there. I am consoling myself already that it is temporary and part time too so it is not so bad and to just try it out.
