Christmas 2012

On Christmas eve...

#1 I got caught/trapped in the room before I can run when the fogging unexpectedly started really on time. What to do but to cover my nose and mouth with my towel hoping I won't faint or have an asthma attack or anything as I watch the smoke come into my room from the ventilation above my door as the people fogged up each floor. Thank God I am still alive and nothing happened.

#2 I ate self cooked porridge with salt and sesame oil and veggies. Oh and a bit of anchovies and a small shoot of ginger mixed in the porridge to give it a bit o flavor.

#3 I went to visit a friend's church - Faith Christian Center for their Christmas eve thingy. Quite alright. Enjoyed the dance but yeah.

#4 Had nice supper/dinner time with some of my friend's friends who were the friendliest people I have ever met, so easy to talk to, so fun.

So it wasn't too bad. I get to go out. Last years was spent crying in the room because some people make empty promises of Christmas plans.

As for Christmas day, nothing much. I finished my novel, don't dare to start another one because I NEED to study.

Few days ago, I bought two things for myself as a Christmas present. Practical things but.. hehe more expensive. I bought a new pair of slippers because that faithful old one has served well for 3+ years before the right side is beyond repair. The new one is red with a strip of golden glitter :D The other thing I bought is a tumbler from Starbucks. Quite disappointing but, don't care la. It will be my one and only time I buy stuff of Starbucks. A red tumbler that will serve me on mornings I rush to class holding my milo which I will drink on my way. As well as the rare times I go to starbucks to drink and get a mere RM2 off. But I am happy, it is red, it is what people buy into the name. I am happy because i have been contemplating getting one for quite some time already :P

The picture will be up soon I hope when I get a better line to post the photo nicely instead of weirdly small and stuck to the left as mailed through gmail. The line is still crappy to do much, unable to open blogger itself.

I don't think I will do a wrap up of 2012 anytime soon. Perhaps when I am home middle of January or something. Because it is not the end of the year until this semester ends. Then finally my concept of time/calendar can return to normal human's timing rather than this odd timing.

Last two and a half weeks on campus. With this love hate experience, it is a phase I am glad to have gone through and if I want to go through campus life again, I hope to do it elsewhere. At best, another country. If not I think it would be a waste of time. A lot of things I am fed up of despite being grateful to have grown stronger through the endurance of it. I just hope I don't turn cold and hard.

Otherwise I am glad it is coming to an end - a place I have been looking at since much earlier on in my degree. It's like, finally I am here! :D I'll miss KL, the malls and the things here though. It is rather depressing sometimes to shop back home. But yeah, figured a yearly trip to KL would be fun :)

That's all for now. Christmas is still lingering in the world and has not ended! So MERRY CHRISTMAS! 8D

My slipper when I first bought it end of 2009

How it is today... the strap was broken for several months alredy, fixed with a string. Then now the top part broke so it cannot be fixed at all anymore..

Me red tumbler..

And me sparkling new red slippers :D
