Pweetiness

At this hour of the day and the time of the week I wouldn't really have blogged. I think. Heh. But one thing strikes me again today, a reality I don't really fancy.

I'm rather happy with what I wore today to classes. It was meant for the formality required for the presentation which was said to be NOW but postponed to tonight. I wore a cute white formal blouse with a green-patterned white skirt. It looked nice. But I didn't think it was THAT nice.

Friends were commenting that it is nice. Not Chinese friends though. Most of them are too jealous or whatever to give praise. Only the Malay nice friends. This is the number one thing I noticed.

The number two thing I noticed was, that people did stare, mostly guys. Perhaps I am pretty or too sexy. Yeah, skirts with length around the knees are considered sexy here. And the particular thing I noticed was that auntie of the soy bean drink truck smiled at me and talked to me today. She never did. And the printing shop girls (Indonesians) did notice me like, more than ordinary.

So the reality that struck was that outward beauty is still perceived more. Mostly perhaps inner beauty takes time to show, at least more than one glance. Which explains first impressions.

I wonder if this is sooooooooo pretty :|

But it did felt nice though :D
