Persian Gaz Candy

Happy New Year to the Iranians! They celebrated their new year on the 21st of March (which is the same day as my dad's birthday xD)

The Iranians then set up a simple exhibition introducing their culture, showing pictures at the Faculty of Modern Languages and Culture. Since I have classes there, we drop by and visited. Then I got to taste the Iranian Candy! Just ate it now :D It's actually quite similar to the European nougat but not totally the same. It's really nice!

Googled it up and found information about it. It's actually called Gaz. The ingredients used to make it is quite unique too, with one as the sap of a plant associated to the manna in the bible. I can actually guess how manna tastes like by tasting this. Its nice!!! It melts when in contact with our saliva :D

And I have to go finish my assignments now. And must sleep as early as possible. If not I'll get sick again. Have not been having enough sleep for the past two nights. Chao.
