God is totally, totally awesome! Today I have two things to share, which I can't wait to share and amazingly I can come online now in college (meaning I don't have to load my 15 inch lappy and be freezing and shivering in the library) and share with everyone! xD Sadly facebook now terputus - suddenly cannot sign in. But oh well, I can share it here!
Firstly, last week's Introduction to General Linguistics Mid sem test result is out today and my anticipation didn't face disappointment at all. I am all dancing and jumping and smiling when I knew my results. I didn't get the top of class BUT I got the second highest in class!!! And I got a freakking 82.5%!!! The highest is 87 but oh wells, it's so good already!!! All the hard work and God's enabling and utmost blessings really paid off! The friend who studied with me only got 75% :\ She said it's her target so I hope this won't be something that could cause her to stop studying with me. She's an awesome friend to study with. Play and study together, knowing when to be serious and when to play, she's awesome. Oh, I'll her CuteMonkey because she's so cute and her hair and actions are like a small thin monkey xD
Then the second thing is a surprise and an utmost delight! Out of the blue the Trends of Language Teaching lecturer suddenly told us that he corrected out mid sem test which happened so suddenly around the first test season when we never prepared for it. I studied nothing and prepared nothing and had not notes with me to do any kind of last minute studying that day. He announced that we are having test only a couple of hours prior to the test! I couldn't do anything, was having defeat in mind but while rambling with friends who are non-Christians whom are fooling around like asking God for help, I said out , "God, give me a miracle." Then I looked around, others have notes to study so I just sat there trying to look at other's notes and listen to them revise with the hope of getting something, anything that might help. Then I turn to CuteMonkey who was sitting next to me, I just said, "Help me." and she just so willingly revise with me, telling me main topics (methods of teaching) and what each one means and stuff. Then we just went in to have out test after a few minutes. I wrote as much as I can, put in whatever I can think of. And today the lecturer said the results are out. At first he said he'll put it outside his room but in the end he tell everyone their marks. And guess what, I got second highest in class scoring 80%!!! God is really, really awesome!
