El Amor <3

1 Corintios 13:4-13 (La Biblia de las Américas)

4El amor es paciente, es bondadoso; el amor no tiene envidia; el amor no es jactancioso, no es arrogante;
5no se porta indecorosamente; no busca lo suyo, no se irrita, no toma en cuenta el mal recibido ;
6no se regocija de la injusticia, sino que se alegra con la verdad;
7todo lo sufre, todo lo cree, todo lo espera, todo lo soporta.
8El amor nunca deja de ser; pero si hay dones de profecía, se acabarán; si hay lenguas, cesarán; si hay conocimiento, se acabará.
9Porque en parte conocemos, y en parte profetizamos;
10pero cuando venga lo perfecto, lo incompleto se acabará.
11Cuando yo era niño, hablaba como niño, pensaba como niño, razonaba como niño; pero cuando llegué a ser hombre, dejé las cosas de niño.
12Porque ahora vemos por un espejo, veladamente, pero entonces veremos cara a cara; ahora conozco en parte, pero entonces conoceré plenamente, como he sido conocido.
13Y ahora permanecen la fe, la esperanza y el amor, estos tres; pero el mayor de ellos es el amor.

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
