The Harpers are the Things They Harped About.

With the ending of Theater, there's this whole hoohah about "being together", "loving each other", "appreciating each other" and so on going on. Honestly, yes, I do see people that I would appreciate but for a lot others, I don't buy it. Seriously.

Yes, I can love them and treat them nicely and not abandon them and help them but in terms of personally being close, I highly doubt it. Plus all the crap that they say comes with unpleasant tones that commands and orders and condemns people to "be responsible" or "appreciate" each other, it does no carry the message across at all. It's like all the crap the government is talking politically about 1 Malaysia that when you look at it seriously, there's no such bonds or respect towards each other. Back in Sarawak, we've done much better than that since long time ago where mutual respect means mutual respect and not having bias nor back stabbing nor imposing values upon each other.

I personally respond to people according to the level of appreciation they have for me and the level of appreciation in response to my investment that I made. For those who show their worth of my investment, oh I would sacrifice and go out far for them. I have learnt to keep a healthy distance, a healthy boundary especially with those who does not appreciate me, does not sacrifice for me, does not see me worth being with and does not enjoy my company nor stand up for me. It is silly to throw diamonds to the pigs. And with all those people harping on harmony and appreciation towards each other, I highly doubted that they truly see true appreciation happening. They only see what they want and they are the ones that are selfish and ignorant and imposing their ridiculous expectations and values on people.

But seriously, there are some who are seriously nice and all out sincerely. One just gave me some durians to eat just now and I am not saying this just because of that. But through consistent evidence of her kindness and niceness, I can see that she meant good. Unlike others who back stab and badmouthed people or even manipulate people. It is always those who harp on people being hypocrites, selfish people or controlling people the most that are the ones being the thing they judge others to be. Not surprised at all. We have seen it all now.

Which reminds me, I need to show more appreciation to those whom have been consistently nice to me and have stuck by my side and have shown their worth in investment. Hmm... I'm thinking of a possible small Christmas celebration with all the non Christian course mates whom have never had the chance to celebrate Christmas. Thinking of a way to have a budget yet nice small celebration. It'll be small among close nice ones. Hmm...
