Learnt lots, understood lots. :) Time to make also some efforts of my own to READ! Haven't touched books! This is what happens during holidays.
I made some cupcakes though! Gave some away to relatives (a cousin had birthday today!) and then to GodMom, told her I am going to start a business on it! And I forgot, I need feedback! Feedback to improve, which is the best thing! Will post the photos once I get the good ones on my compy! :D
This just leads back to this thing in my heart now - how people take criticisms.
Criticisms are hard to take, hard to swallow. Some are seriously not easy to swallow. Some are just plain destructive while some are for our own good. It is always easy to take in criticisms from people whom we know truly loves us and never meant harm. But for those we doesn't even respect, we will just throw the criticisms out the window!
Some people on the other hand, are just so full of themselves that whatever criticisms that are given to them, they treat it with a face like against a flint. They always have their own agenda, they always think that their own ideas are the best and works the best and they think that their own is the highest amongst all - they are always right. So when others tell them, point to them their weakness, they either get angry or show that I-don't-care-what-you-say-I-am-always-right-and-I-know-what-I-am-doing-so-I-don't-need-you-to-tell-me-what-to-do face.
That is just plain pride.
Honestly, I was one of them at one point of my life not so long ago. Until God press me down hard with His finger about it for my own good. So I keep a hard eye on myself to watch out that I don't be like that. One thing I will make sure is, I keep myself teachable so that I can learn more and gain lots of wisdom.
One thing I learnt is to shut up. Talking too much to all the wrong people is not just NOT beneficial, sometimes it causes unnecessary chaos.
Then the other important thing is to not HEAR gossip, and NEVER REPEAT gossip. This that doesn't concern me or beyond my control, I just don't care. It's just so simple. It is none of our business to talk about my neighbour having sex every night or not. There are better things to talk about and to care more about rather than these thrash talk which we don't even know whether it is true or not. DO NOT SPREAD SOMETHING THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW IT IS THE TRUTH OR NOT especially concerning things about OTHER PEOPLE. And another most important thing is NEVER ASSUME THINGS. That simple. Want to know about it, talk to the people concerned. Don't make up stories.
Some things are just not worth spreading. Maybe we should name this as - verbal bullying. Something that Sibu is famous for. (someone found wikipedia travel advice about traveling to Sibu - excessive slander and gossip is a norm in this town) SADLY.
So yeah. My take for today.
